Halloween is on WEDNESDAY, October 31st this year --- early dismissal day at Edna Maguire.  Please note the new times for our Halloween Parades:  Kindergarten (12:40 ~ 1pm) and Grades 1-5 (1 ~ 1:45pm).  Costumes should be sent to school in a bag; children will change before the parades.  More information about Halloween festivities in your classrooms will be sent home by your teachers or Room Parents.  Have a safe and happy Halloween!

Dine out or take out to benefit Edna Maguire by patronizing Pizza Antica in Strawberry Village and Pacific Catch in Corte Madera Town Center.

2nd Tuesday of every month --- Pizza Antica will give Edna 20% of your total lunch, dinner, or take-out bill!

3rd Tuesday of every month --- Pacific Catch will donate 15% of your total bill all day long!

Just pick up a flyer in the Main Office, show it to your server, and a portion of your bill will go to our school

THE FIRST GARDEN WORK  PARTY OF THE YEAR!

In between sporting events and household chores, join us in the Garden.  Bring, a friend, a neighbor, a grandma, a  grandpa, and witness the magic of community.

Steeplechase Pep Rally

 When?  Thurs., Sept. 27th @ 11:15

Where?  Edna Maguire MPR

What?  Grade-level cheering, a skit, and a boost of school spirit

Why?  To raise awareness of and to launch our annual fundraiser

Attire?  Historical Steeplechase t-shirts or something green/white

Edna Maguire's new website includes many features with useful information about our school. There are important dates, messages from Principal Lisa Zimmer and the PTA, flyers and forms to download, the new online version of the Pony Express, the school calendar, as well as links to other organizations related to Edna.

In the future, we hope to provide each Edna Maguire teacher with her or his own blog webpage so that you will be able to access schedules and calendars for your child's classroom, keep track of homework assignments, and receive messages from the PTA and school.
