Congratulations to all of the students who ran, walked, and cheered their way through a most successful Steeplechase day on Friday, October 26th!
Many thanks to VALERIE LINDSAY, for her organization, coordination, flexibility, and leadership. Thank you also to the Steeplechase Committee: Bethany Conybeare, Marie Cardinal, Janet Fox, Janie Karp, Josie Viscardi, Nancy Felder, Katrina Kehl, Deb Luster, and Sean Norton. And, finally, a standing ovation to Principal Lisa Zimmer, Steeplechase Queen Schuyler Harvey, the Edna Maguire teachers and staff, and the VOLUNTEERS who made this event such a success!

So far it looks like we will have a beautiful week for the
rescheduled date, certainly one that may be a little more conducive to an outside
lapathon! The fields are saturated, and the forecast calls for rain all week. We wanted to give you as much notice as possible so that you can reschedule your plans as needed.

The Friends of Sironka Dance Troupe from Kenya visited Edna Maguire on September 20, 2007. Members from both the Maasai and Luo tribes shared their music, dance, language, and culture with Edna Maguire students. We've posted some of the pictures from their visit. Just follow the link below.
