Please join more than 5, 000 U.S. schools and four million people in 40 countries for International Walk to School Day on October 6. The event kicks off at 8:10 am at the Mill Valley Community Center. From there, we'll walk, bike and skateboard to Edna Maguire where a welcome table stocked with healthy goodies will be waiting.

Walk to School events work to create safer routes for walking and bicycling. They also emphasize the importance of issues such as increasing physical activity among children, pedestrian safety, traffic congestion, concern for the environment and building connections between families, schools and the broader community. We encourage EVERYONE at Edna Maguire to walk, bike or carpool to school whenever possible!
