If you look up at 2 of the trees past the softball field and near the bike path you will see 2 little owl houses. We have installed these boxes to help provide homes and nesting sights for our native barn owls. Owls are nocturnal birds that prey on small rodents. Keep your eyes out for signs of an owl family that has moved in. Please observe and do not disturb. You can see pictures of the installation and what potential new owl residents may look like here:
