We'll announce the 2011 Bookmark Design Contest winners on November 1. In honor of the library's Centennial we will print ten winners (instead of only five) - come by to collect them all in late November!

Wednesday, November 2, 2:30 - 4:00 pm: Day of the Dead Altar Making Event. Honor your ancestors with a beautiful altar in a shoebox.

Thursday, November 10, 6:15 - 7:15 pm: Musical Pajama Story Time. Little and big kids alike will want to don their PJs and relax with stories and songs from lullaby expert Julia Norton.

Saturday, November 19, 1:00 - 2:00 pm: SHARE-A-Book Dogs. Watch kids gain confidence as they read aloud to a four-legged friend at the library.

Sunday Special! Acorns à la Carte with Ane Carla Rovetta: Sunday, November 20 at 11:00 am. Celebrate the season of Thanksgiving with fall stories and drawings from this multi-talented Bay Area treasure.

Mark your calendar: Winter Wednesday Craft Drop-ins! Make holiday cards on December 7, create ornaments and gifts on December 14, or come to a Gingerbread Person Party on Wednesday, December 21. Plan to join us for free family movies during our Winter Break Film Festival screenings at 2:30 pm in the Creekside Room. Watch our website for details as they become available.
