The Mill Valley Children's Garden continues to be a big hit at the Mill Valley Farmer's Market every Tuesday from 3:30-7:30 pm, with Edna Maguire students showing off their entrepreneurial skills and sales techniques.

The garden is bursting with tomatoes, berries, summer squash, apples, pears, greens, flowers and herbs.

It's amazing what the children find when they explore the summer garden jungle.

Today the produce was sold out by 5:30 pm and the garden made $115, a new record. Not bad.
If you haven't volunteered for the farmer's market, either harvesting or selling, and are interested, email Lisa Santos (lsantos@rightnowconsulting.com) or Saor Stetler (sstetler@earthlink.net) to get more information. The market runs until mid-October.
