A great time was had by all, in our hall against the wall, above and below, and to the side....we cried... with joy, we had girls and we had BOY (s)!
Gathered it was from all over town, Professionals read a story, short yet profound.
They read with heart, bared their souls! And revealed how everyone needs to read...be you young or so very old!
They were Doctors and Lawyers, a Funny Man...a Fireman. A Singer, a Plumber, a Media Maker. Two... Do-Gooders! one named ... Baker!
Scary but cool... the Warden of the Prison was... HERE...on a mission... to read to a CHILD.... along side the Mayor...HOW WILD!
A Scholar, a Newspaper Editor, a Bookseller...how neat!
A Decorated Olympian... WOW! We had guests you just couldn't beat!
A Famous Author came, hair carefully combed, happily knowing her children were home.
We had Artists and Dancers a Judge and a Priest. A Piano Player, a Health Food Bar Maker, and last but not least...The POLICE Chief!
